Below is the letter I received in response to my letter to the Chancellor.
"Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing on behalf of her Majesty's Government to thank you for your letter of 7 November.
Ministers are always keen to receive feedback from people up and down the country, so it is very good of you to take the time to write and to let them have your views. Please rest assured that the contents of your letter have been registered by the Treasury.
Thank you, once again, for taking the trouble to write to us with your views."

Reply from London Underground
Below is the letter I received in response to my Letter to London Underground.
"Thank you for your letter about the good service you receive from our staff members at Oval.
I am very pleased to read your comments about how you enjoy your journeys through the station and the customer service you receive from staff there.
I have passed on your comments to the management team that is responsible for the staff members in question so that your kind comments can be passed on to them. I’d like to assure you that we constantly try to improve our service and appreciate the positive feedback we receive from our customers.
Once again, thank you for your coments and please contact us again if you need any help in the future."

Ellie's animals
I was delighted with today’s post! Today I received one of Ellie’s animals, wrapped up in a lovely little package.
Ellie is one half of the duo behind The Strive for Happiness and she has decided to try to draw all the animals in the world! So far, there are 112 drawings – and now one of them is mine.
Each one of the 112 drawings needs a home – Ellie is asking for people to spend some time with one of her animals, get a feel for its character and then send her a story inspired by their animal.
So, my animal (he’s called George!) is now making himself at home with me and I’m looking forward to coming up with a story for him.
